Next Level: Guatemala

On November 25th to December 9th, 2018, hip hop artists Kareem “Bboy Kareem” Gwinn (Dancer), Laleyna “Amore” Gomex (DJ), David “Chino BYI” Villorente (Graffiti/Aerosol Artist), and Angelique “Giddy” Perez (MC) traveled to Guatemala as part of the Next Level program. The artists joined team manager Kane Smego and performed for audiences and collaborated with local artists to promote cross-culture exchange and conflict resolution. The team is part of a larger Next Level cohort of twenty American MC’s, DJ’s, beat makers, and hip hop dancers leading exchange programs across the globe. You can read more about the artists here.
