Syrga Tilekova is the CEO & Co-Founder of the tech startup NB FIT, which won the "Start-Up of the Year" at the Central Asian Tech Awards in 2023, after having won the "Astana Hub Startup Battle" in 2022. 

Syrga is experienced in setting go-to-market strategy, launching products, and scaling revenue. She has also worked on product optimization and growth best practices and is an experienced user behaviors analyst. Syrga is passionate about helping women in STEM.

IVLP Impact Award Project: Empowering Rural Women Through Entrepreneurship and Technology

This project empowered 164 rural women by offering three days of training classes that provided them with the necessary skills and resources to start and run successful businesses. The trainings took place in five cities in three regions across the country and focused on entrepreneurship and technology. Specific topics that the training focused on included writing business plans, developing marketing strategies, building teams, identifying market opportunities, and understanding financial management. The project also provided follow-up mentoring and support for the participants. This improved financial literacy and management skills of the women entrepreneurs, and this empowerment will continue to improve overall gender equality in the local economy. Following the project, 54 of the participants applied to local business incubators, and one young participant used strategic marketing initiatives and technology to successfully double her customer base within just two months after attending the training.

Women entrepreneurs from rural areas joined the entrepreneurship training sessions, which covered essential aspects of entrepreneurship, including business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and legal considerations.

IVLP Exchange Experience 

Syrga was a participant in the IVLP Project Creative Economy, organized by the U.S. Department of State and Cultural Vistas.
