IVLP Impact Award Project: Activities of Russian Propaganda in the Russian-Ukrainian War

The world is in a period of transformation where the analog era has changed to digital. At the same time, everything related to information has changed. Specifically, the quantity and concentration of information viruses, tools of manipulation, and so on. However, new rules for the safe consumption of information have not yet been developed. The spread of information is quickly gaining traction, and the pace of creating protection against disinformation is lagging. Access to information weapons is becoming more widespread every year. There is no doubt that information weapons are as important as other weapons. The traditional weapons market is regulated, while the market of information weapons is not.

This project asked participants the question, “Do you have the weapons to wage and win the information war?” 22 participants discussed this question, and 7 distinct social entrepreneurship ideas were improved. The project created and published educational videos on topics such as combatting Russian propaganda or spotting disinformation in the media, ultimately producing 14 videos for wider distribution.
