Monisha Pirela is finishing her Associate's degree at Central Piedmont Community College while being active on campus and in her community. She grew up in a historic riverfront city on the coast of North Carolina that helped share her love for history, community activism, and the arts. She is hard-working, mission driven, and dedicated to achieving her goals. Monisha aspires to become an author, an architect, and a political activist who makes an impact on the world. When she is not writing, invested in scholarly, artistic, or community endeavors, she likes to spend time with her family, read, and travel.
