Michael Ledecky

Manager, Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives, Sports and Entertainment @ EverFi

Michael Ledecky manages special projects and strategic initiatives at EverFi, a Washington-based education-technology company that builds digital platforms to train and certify users in the skills they need to be successful in life. With EverFi’s Sports and Entertainment Group, Michael has helped develop community outreach programs on behalf of major companies, sports teams, and professional athletes to provide pre-college learners with free online courses designed to address intractable social issues such as cyberbullying, diversity and inclusion, and career readiness. He currently works with Major League Baseball and National Hockey League clubs to implement STEM and literacy programs in schools and community centers throughout North America.

Michael graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude in 2016 with a B.A. in Government and secondary in Economics. He volunteers with Special Olympics D.C.’s Young Professionals Council and chairs the Harvard Club of Washington’s Recent Graduates committee. Born and raised in the D.C. area, Michael has traveled the world to support his sister Katie Ledecky, who has won five Olympic gold medals in swimming.
