Jamaal Baptiste is a senior at Santa Fe College. He was recently a fellow for the City of Gainesville's UX program and is currently taking classes in the summer to graduate sooner. He is considered a non-traditional student, since he works and has financial responsibilities to the family. His international interest began in Spring of 2021, participating in the Global Scholars Program with Santa Fe College. He interacted with students from all around the world and met international delegates in person multiple times at the college.
