The Aspiring ICONS project stands for Inclusion's Champion Optimizing Nurturing Societies. This project had a profound impact by training 40 university students in creating socially inclusive digital stories and social media platforms. Each workshop, centered on themes like social cohesion, gender inclusion, and female leadership, equipped participants with essential skills and insights. Following the workshops, participants initiated their own social action projects, guided by mentors, which reached over 600 community members.
Moreover, Hina's project launched over 20 social media channels and produced more than 6 digital stories, amplifying its reach and influence. Particularly noteworthy were the initiatives led by participants from underprivileged areas, focusing on social cohesion and inclusion. These projects aimed to normalize gender partnerships in academia and the professional sphere, thereby promoting broader societal integration and progress.
Hina was a participant in the IVLP Project Gender Inclusion in Pakistan’s Workplace organized by the U.S. Department of State and Mississippi Consortium for International Development.
Hina's exchange experience led to the development of her IVLP Impact Award Project: "[My] IVLP visit brief...inspired me to facilitate and work more on inclusion regarding working mothers, like how they facilitated their human capital for productivity, health and wellbeing."
