Emma Yvonne Mears graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a concentration in International Politics. She was previously a fellow at Proof Strategies where she designed programming between embassy clients and private sector and U.S. government partners and developed public relations strategy. She also worked on the Hill for Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-15) as a press fellow and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) as a legislative intern. While at George Washington University, Emma was the Director of Events for the Alpha Phi Iota Iota Chapter. Being French-American, she is a native French speaker, and has professional working proficiency in Spanish as well as elementary proficiency in Arabic.
