Ashley Jimenez is an incoming transfer to CUNY - Queens College where she will be studying Political Science with a concentration in international politics. Initially she was majoring in international criminal justice, however, her interest changed to politics when she took her first political science course as an elective. From there, she saw all the possibilities of change for the better that she could contribute to the world. Seeing how change starts from the government, she began to aspire to become a diplomat in order to see the evolvement in a more broad view. Her personal philosophy is the shortened quote, "Be the change you wish to see in the world" credited to Mahatma Gandhi.
