Arnab works for one of the leading international think-and-action-tank, Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) International. He started his career in the field of development research and has varied experience of working with non-profit, government and private sector. Arnab's core area of interest is trade and connectivity in the Indo-Pacific and he has previously provided consultancy services to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises' (MSME's) in India. 

IVLP Impact Award Project: Building Capacities of Young Women and Women-led MSME's on Cybersecurity and Digital/Online Safety

Arnab's project developed the capacity of over 400 women and women led micro, small and medium enterprises' (MSME) in 6 districts in West Bengal to prevent and combat cyber threats. His project organized six capacity building workshops at the local level, where the level of awareness about cyber security is considerably lower than the rest of the region. The program raised awareness for cyber-crimes and helped participants build the necessary toolkits to avoid such crimes in their lives. Participants have reported adopting cybersecurity practices in their daily lives since attending the training. Examples include only downloading things from trusted sources, not accepting unknown friend requests on social media, etc.
