Meridian Extends Condolences on the Passing of Former First Lady Nancy Reagan
The Board and Staff of Meridian International Center expressed condolences today on the passing of Former First Lady of the United States of America, Nancy Reagan.
Mrs. Reagan was well-respected for her tireless service to her country, and in particular, to veterans, the elderly, and the differently-abled. In expressing his sympathy to the Reagan family, Meridian's President Ambassador Stuart Holliday stated:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reagan family at this time. As we approach International Women's Day, on Tuesday, March 8, we will celebrate Mrs. Reagan's phenomenal work and her role in inspiring women around the world to reach for greater heights of achievement."
