Rolando Alvarez is the Founder of TUINFO, a company that develops self-sustaining Wi-Fi hotspots in rural parts of Bolivia. TUINFO hopes to close the digital divide for low-income individuals in rural areas. Rolando previously worked as the Manager of Entel S.A., a rural telecommunications development company. He received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and his Bachelor’s degree from the Escuela Militar de Ingeniería.
