Neanna McLean

Director @ Women’s Global Impact Initiative

NeAnna Roane A. McLean is the Director of Women’s Global Impact Initiative, a charitable interagency organization with a mission to include the interest of Women in all matters pertaining to international and domestic community planning and development. She is also owner at Steely Construction Services.

After a nine-year tenure with the NAACP, National Headquarters, NeAnna resigned from her role in the Development office where she managed the High End Donor Portfolio; to pursue the endeavors of WGII fulltime.
With over 19 years of advocacy (non-profit/Government Relations) experience, NeAnna carries a diverse array of interagency knowledge. She is a member of Professional Women in Construction, The Washington Club at 15 Dupont Circle, prior to its disbanding and she serves on the cultural planning committee for the Humanities DC initiative. NeAnna is active in Women in Homeland Security activities and serves as a lead in the United Nations Sustainable Cities Initiative for Baltimore City.

She is a published author, mother of three boys and a hairless Chinese crested dog. Her hobbies include practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu (16 years), cooking, volunteering and conducting data analysis in Python programming language.

NeAnna has a proven record of her commitment to service, both domestically and internationally and she is a passionate advocate for research and works on cross-sectoral projects to influence the value of Women Inclusion in service work.
