The United States, Mexico and the Colorado River: a Binational Program on Water Use and Habitat Restoration

The Binational Colorado River Leadership Program is a knowledge and information exchange, including field visits, for water leaders in the United States and water leaders in Mexico, so that they will understand the water management issues and institutions of both countries within the Colorado River basin. Through this program, the Walton Family Foundation and Meridian International Center aim to develop a strong understanding of and support for holistic management of the Colorado River and its importance for public consumption, agriculture, business, recreation, and conservation.
