Reception in Honor of the 50th Annual Meridian Ball Leadership
In honor of the 50th Annual Meridian Ball, Meridian International Center co-hosted a reception with His Excellency Armando Varricchio, Ambassador of Italy and Mrs. Varricchio at Villa Firenze to thank this year’s leadership committee members and sponsors. We were also joined by His Excellency Wolfgang Waldner, Ambassador of Austria; His Excellency Camilo Reyes Rodriguez, Ambassador of Colombia; His Excellency Hendrick Shuwer, Ambassador of Netherlands; His Excellency Timothy Groser, Ambassador of New Zealand; His Excellency Sheikh Meshal Bin Hamad Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar; and His Excellency Martin Dahinden, Ambassador of Switzerland; who will host dinners at their residences prior to the Ball. Guests enjoyed refreshments on the patio of Villa Firenze before remarks by Ambassador Stuart Holiday, President and CEO of Meridian International Center, and Minister Plenipotentiary Maurizio Greganti, Deputy Chief of Mission for the Italian Embassy, expressing their commitment to promoting cooperation and understanding through the exchange of people, culture and ideas.
