Mexican Report: Contemporary Art from Mexico

Mexican Report: Contemporary Art from Mexico included 100 pictures, sculptures, engravings, installations, and videos from more than 50 Mexican and foreign artists living in Mexico. Many of these pieces were created specifically for this exhibition. This exhibition was curated in collaboration between Meridian International Center, The Cultural Institute of Mexico, and the Curator’s Office Gallery.

A roundtable discussion on the artworks in the exhibition and Mexican contemporary art was hosted at the Cultural Institute of Mexico, and participants included Milena Malinowska (Hirshhorn Museum), Andrea Pollan (Curator's Office), Santiago Espinosa de los Monteros (exhibition curator), and Anthony Harvey (art critic).

Mexican Report was made possible by support from the Secretariat of External Affaires of Mexico, the National Council for the Culture and the Arts, the National Institute of Arts, the Instituto de México of San Antonio, Blue Star, and the Southwestern Bell Company.
