Meridian Council Salon Series: An Evening of Wine, Music and Tango with His Excellency Jorge Argüello, Ambassador of Argentina and Sergio Buslje, Director of the Pan American Symphony Orchestra

On June 1, 2022, Meridian International Center organized its third reception in the 2022 Salon Dinner Series. The Meridian Council was honored to be hosted by Ambassador Jorge Argüello and the Argentine Embassy.

The Pan American Symphony Orchestra, led by Sergio Buslje, shared the abridged history of the Argentine Tango from composers such as Astor Piazzolla and Manuel Jovés. The concert consisted of music ranging from the 1800s to the late 1990s, accompanied by two performances by dancers Alejandro Barrientos and Natalia Krasnikova.
