Global Business@Meridian Downtown: Brazil

His Excellency Mauro Vieira, Ambassador of Brazil to the United States joined with Meridian Corporate Council Members and senior officials from the diplomatic community for the seventh installment of the Global Business @ Meridian Downtown series. Hosted by Corporate Council Co-Chair, Kathryn Karol at the offices of Amgen, Inc., the dialogue broadly addressed the significant changes that Brazil has undergone in the past 20 years, and how the new climate for business and investment has been a key factor in Brazil’s growth. Following Ambassador Vieira’s opening remarks, members of Meridian’s Corporate Council and invited guests offered questions related to Brazil’s economic and investment policies and programs.
