Global Dialogue Series

The Global Dialogue Series features "salon style," off-the-record conversations examining the central policy challenges facing the U.S. and world leaders.  Drawing on Meridian’s unique constituencies, Global Dialogues offer both domestic and international perspectives on key issues. Participants include high-level individuals from the congressional, diplomatic, and government communities, as well as Meridian Trustees and Corporate Council members. The small audience format is designed to facilitate thoughtful conversation and encourage audience participation on a broad range of topics, including business and trade, global food security challenges, energy and the environment, foreign policy, U.S.-France relations and investment opportunities in emerging markets.

Recent Meridian Global Dialogues include a dinner with Lori Lee, CEO-AT&T Latin America & Global Marketing Officer to discuss the future of the digital economy in Latin America; a salon-style dialogue with H.R.H. Prince Michael of Kent to discuss small business and international trade; as well as a dinner which brought together Washington's top business and policy leaders with Ambassador Pedro Morenés to discuss the U.S.-Spain security partnership.
