The Meridian Ball, one of the most prestigious annual events in Washington, will take place on October 23, 2020. Now in its 52nd year, this event brings together diplomatic, business, cultural and government leaders to support Meridian’s mission of strengthening engagement between the United States and the world. The Ball is well-attended by public officials including Cabinet secretaries, Members of Congress, prominent media figures, foreign ambassadors and representatives from the international business and cultural communities. Guests have the option of attending one of over 30 intimate Ambassador-hosted dinners or the White-Meyer dinner on Meridian’s campus. Following the dinners, guests gather at Meridian House for dancing, dessert and lively conversation.

All guests with tickets to the Ball are also invited to the Meridian Global Leadership Summit on October 22, 2020 at U.S. Institute of Peace. The Meridian Global Leadership Summit is the leading convening of diplomatic, business and government leaders to exchange ideas and collaborate on solutions to global challenges and opportunities. The theme of this year's Summit is global health.
