The Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development (NDIGD) promotes human development and dignity among people worldwide through applied innovations, impact evaluation, education, and training that help build just and equitable societies. It is an integral part of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs.

Drawing on experts across multiple disciplines, NDIGD conducts training and education programs, monitoring and evaluation, and assists in strategic planning for and implementation of innovative global development programs. NDIGD maximizes its impact through partnership with government agencies, non-governmental agencies, humanitarian organizations, foundations, and private corporations in the United States and overseas.

NDIGD cuts across academic fields to produce multidisciplinary knowledge on complex development challenges in areas related to:
