Solomon Self

Solomon Self graduated from American University in 2019 where he majored in International Studies. During his time at American, Solomon was the Vice President of the student body, member of the Delta Phi Professional Foreign Service Fraternity, and was a peer facilitator for the American University Experience. Prior to joining Meridian, Solomon interned for Mobilizing Opportunities Through Community Heritage Empowerment (MOCHE), was a research intern for Advancing Girls’ Education in Africa, and for the Peace Corps in their Overseas Programming and Training Services department.

After two years of being a Program Associate with the IVLP grant, Solomon moved to the IVLP Collaborative Services team to serve as a Project Coordinator. In this role, Solomon plays a part in a variety of media and communication projects. He primarily works with external partners to develop a series of short educational videos to help future IVLP participants prepare for their U.S. programs.
