Randi Levine

Randi Charno Levine is a national advocate for the arts, published author, and philanthropist. Her passion lies in building partnerships to build a more equitable, just, and inclusive society.  

Ms. Levine serves as trustee at the Meridian International Center in Washington, D.C., chairing the Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy, providing guidance and leadership across Meridian’s cultural diplomacy portfolio, including international exchange programs, exhibition development, strategic partnerships, and business developments. 

Currrently, Ms. Levine serves as  Commissioner and Executive Committee member in charge of Special Projects at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. During her tenure, she helped organize and develop exhibitions, transformed the corporate partnership program, and helped curate and expand the museum’s permanent collection. She also spearheaded and chaired the 2019 Portrait of a Nation Gala.

She sits on the Artemis Council at the New Museum, whose mission is to foster and create equity for women across all facets of the arts. As a New Museum trustee,  she has traveled  to China, Italy, Peru, Portugal, and Turkey to visit emerging and established artists and foster relationships between U.S. institutions and artists from these communities, many of whom focus their art on social issues.

In her community, Ms. Levine, is a member of the Friends of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a former member of the Leadership Council at the Roundabout Theatre Company, former board member of the Hamptons International Film Festival supporting young filmmakers, and founding member of the Highline Council in New York. She is also a long-standing board member at the New York University Hospital’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.  

In 2020, she published her first children's book, Princess Orlita, The Curious Princess, to teach the next generation of youngsters how to source healthy food to sustain them in everyday life. Ms. Levine and her husband Jeff Levine are based in Paradise Valley, AZ and New York City, NY and are proud parents to three grown children, Ben, Jessica, and Dara.
