Natalie Shanklin

Creative Producer and Historian @ Meridian

Natalie first joined Meridian as a Communications Fellow in July 2018. In this role, she supported all aspects of Meridian’s communications and marketing efforts, including press outreach, social media, event coverage and digital strategy. She later took over Meridian’s history book project, which she continues to oversee, curating photographs and conducting historical research in order to best memorialize Meridian’s campus and origins ahead of its 60th anniversary. As Creative Producer, Natalie also manages special projects such as the annual report and works closely with the rest of the communications team to strengthen Meridian’s presence online and in its branded materials.

Prior to working at Meridian, Natalie attended Ithaca College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and served as Managing Editor of her campus newspaper. Her international experience includes two semesters abroad in London and Morocco and a summer language program in Chile. When she’s not editing Meridian’s latest blog or newsletter, Natalie enjoys rock climbing and catching up on reading for her book club.
