Madison Abreu

Fellow, International Visitor Leadership Program @ Meridian

Madison Abreu joined the Meridian team in January 2021. She currently serves as the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Fellow, supporting many aspects of exchange program implementation in the virtual environment. She is a recent graduate of American University where she received a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Peace, Conflict Resolution, and Global Security. At AU, she worked as an Intramural Sports Supervisor, served as the Women's Club Soccer President, and was a Research Intern for Americans for Peace Now, a non-profit dedicated to achieving a comprehensive political settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She also studied abroad at the University of Jordan where she completed her studies in the CET Arabic Intensive Language Program, pledging to only speak Arabic for the duration of her time abroad.
