IVLP Impact Award Project: Munay Project

The "Munay Project" was an online leadership and entrepreneurship program focused on empowering women entrepreneurs in Peru. They trained 100 Venezuelan and Peruvian women entrepreneurs between 20 and 45 years to enhance their leadership skills and promote personal development with an entrepreneurial approach.

This program consisted of 18 online activities focused on topics related to leadership, resilience, negotiation, finance, business plan development and sales. The program was aimed exclusively at women as Peru is a country with high rates of gender inequality and gender violence. Due to the massive migration of Venezuelans, Peru has the second largest population of Venezuelan refugees. The program empowered and highlighted the leadership capabilities of women in Peru, promoted collective intelligence, promoted the integration of Peruvian and Venezuelan women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and integrated the participants of the program into the network of women entrepreneurs of "Women's Catalysis."

"Thank you for letting me receive this type of knowledge that allows me to continue growing as a woman and as a human being to be able to give the best of myself." - Project participant
