IVLP Impact Award Project: Networking for Ukrainian Women Doing Business in Kazakhstan

This project helped women who have been arriving in Kazakhstan since early 2022 look for opportunities to expand networks and grow businesses. It aimed to connect Ukrainian women in the agriculture, food, and restaurant business to networking opportunities within Kazakhstan. Konstantin collaborated with two other IVLP Impact Awardees during his project.

110 virtual and 21 in-person Ukrainian women brought their pre-existing knowledge to Kazakhstan and gained new knowledge that they were able to use in their own businesses. Project events included cultural events such as attending the opera and ballet, visiting museums, and taking boat and nature tours. 12 volunteer groups, 9 new businesses, and 12 new jobs were created to help participants kickstart their new lives in Kazakhstan.
