Kelly Buckley is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in East Asian Studies and received a certificate in Chinese Professional Communication. Kelly was an active volunteer with BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Diverse Global Environments), an organization which promotes diplomacy by assisting international students in their transition to life in the U.S. During the summer of 2010, Kelly taught an intermediate English course in Hong Kong to native Cantonese speaking children. She spent the summer of 2013 studying at Nankai University’s College of Chinese and Culture in Tianjin, China.
