Jaisamma has over 19 years of experience in not-for profit accounting, grants management, budget development, financial reporting, and cash management, as well as 13 years of experience in the banking industry in accounting and commercial loans. Prior to joining Meridian in 2016, she managed grants and budgets at the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) and World Relief and served as a Financial Analyst at the Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

Her current responsibilities at Meridian include Federal financial reporting, drawdowns, revenue recognition, and payment requests to Embassies and other funders. In addition to these responsibilities, Jaisamma also assists the program staff with accounting issues, provides budget-to actual reports, sets-up new project codes in the accounting system and timesheets, manages grant records, and closes out the grants. She graduated from the University of Kerala with a B.Com in Cost Accounting and has a Diploma in Microfinance Management.
