Jacob Michel is cofounder of VERTE, a company whose objective is to provide ecological and sustainable portabale drinking water solutions to the Haitian population. He is also the founder of several small companies, such as Haitian Mobile Entertainment, which has the international company of mobile phones DIGICEL as an executive partner. He also founded STATIS which is a consultancy firm in statistical and economic studies. Jacob is a statistician and economist with a master’s degree in Population and Development. He has worked as a Strategic Information Advisor and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in various social, health, and development projects for UNDP, FHI360 and CARE International during the last five years. He also worked as an Impact Evaluation Consultant for the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) on behalf of the World Bank.
