Isabella Parrotta

Isabella Parrotta is a Senior Program Coordinator at the Meridian Center for Global Leadership where she has helped support the MCGL's Foreign Press Center Programs (FPC) since August 2021.

Before starting her current role at Meridian, Isabella helped implement the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) at MCID Washington as a Program Coordinator. A 2019 Global Ties U.S. Emerging Leader, she was also an IVLP intern at World Learning and the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI).

Isabella is a 2019 graduate of American University in Washington, DC where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with double minors in History and International Business. While at university, she focused on the role of identity, race, gender, and culture in international relations, particularly symbolic landscapes and their impact on community identity formation and conflict justification. Isabella also studied at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland and speaks English, Italian, and French.
