The project was for underprovided students and content creators who wanted to learn audio and music in the digital era. It created a platform for underserved, low-income, and at-risk youth to channel their creative energy and turn it into an economic opportunity. The project taught students about digital music, how to develop music, monetizing their talents and navigate the legality of publishing music. 30 participants from local high school and university joined the project to write and produce their own music. The project consisted of 18 sessions where students learned about songwriting, recording software, audio production and copyright legality. Students used their gained knowledge to complete their university degrees and went through the process of copyrighting their music.
Hans was a participant in the IVLP Project Social Influencers for Social Good, organized by the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center.
Hans' exchange experience led to the development of his IVLP Impact Award Project: "The IVLP program gave me a new experience and passion as well as a better understanding of managing learning programs, teaching and sharing knowledge about digital audio and music."
