The aim of the project was to bring together women from diverse occupations and fields who create and redefine the spaces they are in. With this project, women joined together to network and ensure the flow of information between cultures and geographies. The Women in Space project consisted of two phases. The first phase was a series of online interviews with women with the central theme of creating spaces for women in various fields. The second consisted of an in-person summit consisting of talks, a bazaar and community sections with local participants. The project reached 100 in-person participants, plus those engaged through social media and online activities.
