Evy Vannoy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2022 from The George Washington University in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and a Minor in Religion. Most recently, she worked as a Research Assistant with the United States Institute of Peace researching current events, arranging livestream events, and enhancing the Institute’s digital engagement. Evy has served as a Cultural Diplomacy and Education Intern for Washington Performing Arts and has been involved with Advancing Girls Education in Africa where she provided research on the impacts of COVID-19 on teen pregnancy in Southern Africa and education for girls in Malawi. Evy has also served as a volunteer for the Syrian Refugee Educational Support Project where she led multilingual classes in Antalya, Turkey for 150 refugee children seeking resettlement in local schools. Evy is fluent in Turkish and has limited working Arabic.
