Ethan Jenkins

Ethan Jenkins is a Senior Program Associate, Fellowship Coordinator, and Staff Trainer working on the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the Meridian Center for Global Leadership (MCGL).  He was previously an intern in the Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (MCCD) where he worked on an exhibition highlighting United States-Japan baseball diplomacy.  Additionally, Ethan was a Project Supervisor in Costa Rica with Amigos de las Americas, where he supervised American and Costa Rican high school students in an environmental substantiality focused exchange program. In Washington, D.C., Ethan volunteers as a civics instructor at the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School and the Central American Resource Center.  He holds a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish Studies as well as a certificate in Spanish Translation from American University’s School of International Service.  He is currently enrolled in the M.A. International Development Studies program at George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs.  Ethan has traveled extensively throughout South America, North/Central America, Europe, and Asia, and has full professional working proficiency in Spanish.
