IVLP Impact Award Project: Identify the Lie

Esiona used techniques learned through her IVLP project to teach students how to identify fake news and misinformation. The project equipped students with tips and tricks used to identify dubious information. Identify the Lie reached 10 partner high schools and universities, engaging 20-30 students from each high school and 50 from each university. Through lectures, podcasts, booklets and talks with media experts, the project helped raise awareness related to fact finding and information analysis for hundreds of students. "Although online and not in-person, participating in IVLP 2021 was a golden experience for me.
