Erin Koepke

Vice President, Meridian Center for Global Leadership @ Meridian

Erin Koepke serves as Vice President in Meridian's Center for Global Leadership, directly overseeing key Department of State exchange programs such as the Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP) and Afghan Youth Leaders Program (AYLEP). She first began her career at Meridian International Center as a Program Associate in the Professional Exchanges Division from 2007-2008. Erin returned to Meridian in 2014 in the capacity of Program Officer for the GlobalConnect Division’s Academic Exchanges. She managed programs such as the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program and the Pan-African Young Leaders Program (PAYLP) and served as Program Director for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a flagship exchange program to support and develop networks for young entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Erin has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from The Ohio State University. Erin was awarded an Ambassadorial Scholarship through Rotary International to travel to Cape Town, South Africa and participate in a master’s level coursework in Public Policy and Administration at the University of Cape Town in 2010. While in South Africa, she served as Project Manager and co-author of the "Seed to Table" campaign, a cookbook and fundraising mechanism liaising with farmers, publishers, suppliers, donors, and customers. Upon her return to the US, Erin served as Manager of Community Engagement and Outreach for World Food Program - USA, where she led the strategic expansion of the organization's grassroots efforts and steered partnership development with universities, faith-based institutions, and civic organizations.
