Erin Koepke

Senior Program Officer, PAYLP Project Director @ Meridian

Erin Koepke serves as Senior Program Officer and PAYLP Project Director with Meridian International Center's GlobalConnect Division. Erin first began her career at Meridian International Center as a Program Associate in the Professional Exchanges Division.  In 2010, Erin was awarded an Ambassadorial Scholarship through Rotary International to travel to Cape Town, South Africa and participate in Masters level coursework in Public Policy and Administration at the University of Cape Town. While in South Africa, she served as Project Manager and co-author of the "Seed to Table" campaign, a cookbook and fundraising mechanism liaising with farmers, publishers, suppliers, donors and customers. Upon return to the US, Erin served as Manager of Community Engagement and Outreach for World Food Program - USA, where she led the strategic expansion of the organization's grassroots efforts and partnership development with universities, faith-based institutions and civic organizations. Erin returned to Meridian in 2014 in the capacity of Program Officer for GlobalConnect's Academic Exchanges. She has managed key Department of State exchange programs such as the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program and the Pan-African Young Leaders Program (PAYLP) and served as Program Director for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a flagship exchange program to support and develop networks for young entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean. Erin has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from The Ohio State University.
