Deborah Chavarria is the Co-founder of the social business 2da Mano, a Costa Rican-based initiative which aims to impact, strengthen and improve the quality of life of women located in rural and vulnerable communities by offering them the opportunity to be entrepreneurs and sell second-hand clothing. In 2012, Deborah graduated from the "Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset" obtaining a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation and Project Management in Madrid, Spain. Since 2009, Deborah gained extensive work experience in international organizations as a project manager and development instructor. Currently, she is working at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a program technical assistant.
