IVLP Impact Award Project: Workshop on International Child Abduction

This project organized a two-day meeting to bring together federal judges from across Brazil, including the Brazilian Central Authority and Public Advocacy, to enhance judicial procedures on the Hague 1980 International Child Abduction cases.

45 participants, including 28 federal judges, discussed the judicial procedures needed for the return of abducted children. The projected fostered an international learning environment by organizing discussions with speakers from Uruguay and the United States and offered networking opportunities across the judicial, government, and health sectors.
