  • The Honorable Daniel W. Yohannes, member of the Board of Directors of Dow Inc., former U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and former Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

Daniel Yohannes is the former U.S Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Ambassador Yohannes held held this role from 2014 to 2017. Prior to joining the OECD, Ambassador Yohannes served as Chief Executive  Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an Independent U.S. Government  Foreign Aid Development Agency.

Prior to his government service, Ambassador Yohannes was a leader in the financial services industry, working in various roles including Vice Chairman and a member of the management committee of US Bank, President and Chief Executive Officer of Colorado National Bank, and Executive Vice President of Security Pacific Bank (now Bank of America).

Ambassador Yohannes serves on Xcel Energy, and Dow Chemical Board of Directors. In addition he serves on a number of nonprofit organizations, including National Jewish Health, Make A Wish America, Project CURE, and Meridian International.

Ambassador Yohannes is a recipient of a number of United States and International awards, including the U. S. State Department’s Highest Honor, the Secretary's Distinguished Service Award. The Government of the Philippines awarded him its Citation of the order of Sikatuna with the rank of Grand Cross, Silver Distinction, The Government of Benin honored him with its National Order of Merit, Commander, Ambassador Yohannes also received the Honduran medal of Merit, Commander.
