Born in Hiroshima, Kenichi Zenimura was a player and coach who immigrated to Hawaii before moving to California to play baseball. Zenimura founded the Fresno Athletic Club (FAC) in 1920 and became known as known as the “Dean of the Diamond” after establishing a league of ten Nisei teams. The FAC traveled to Japan three times, often fielding a racially mixed roster.
銭村健一(ぜにむら けんいち)は広島で生まれ、ハワイに移民したプレーヤー兼コーチで、その後、野球をするためにカリフォルニア州に移りました。銭村は1920年にフレズノ・アスレチッククラブ(FAC) を創立し、日系二世チーム10チームから成るリーグを設立してからは、”the Dean of the Diamond (野球場の大将)”として知られるようになりました。FACは日本に3回遠征し、しばしば多人種混合チームを組んで対戦しました。
