Washington D.C.: On Friday, October 18, 2013, several of the world’s top government and corporate leaders will attend the Meridian Global Leadership Summit and the 45th Annual Meridian Ball. Known as “landmark events” in the nation’s capital, the Summit and the Ball convene a cross-section of ambassadors, international and domestic policy-makers, corporate leaders and prominent media figures to network and collaborate on solutions to the complex social, economic, and political problems which the world faces today.

Co-chaired by Dalia Mroue-Fateh, Philanthropist and Founder of Salt Productions and Christophe Navarre, Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy, the Global Leadership Summit is hosted in partnership with Gallup and the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. The Summit will feature several top speakers who will share their insights and perspectives on rethinking leadership around the globe, including:

The Summit will feature the release of Global States of Mind: New Metrics for World Leaders, by Gallup CEO Jim Clifton, which captures key findings from over 160 countries on what citizens think of their leadership, and sets the stage for ensuing discussions. Panelists will use the findings of this audit as a foundation in discussing the evolving nature of leadership around the world, and the importance of understanding the perceptions of people and cultures in an increasingly interconnected world.

The Summit program will also include a presentation of the Meridian Corporate Leader Award to Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy, Christophe Navarre.
