Meridian Names Natalie Jones As Executive Vice President and Puru Trivedi As Vice President, External And Corporate Affairs

Washington, D.C. – Meridian International Center announced the promotion of Natalie Jones Hallahan to Executive Vice President and Puru P. Trivedi to Vice President, External and Corporate Affairs.

Ambassador Stuart Holliday, President and CEO of Meridian, said, “Meridian has grown significantly in mission impact, innovation, revenue, and reputation over the last few years thanks to the hard work and vision of both Natalie Jones and Puru Trivedi. NATALIE JONES HALLAHAN, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

As Executive Vice President, Ms. Jones will oversee Meridian’s three Centers: Global Leadership, Diplomacy and Culture and continue to cultivate strategic partnerships with the diplomatic, government, cultural and private sectors. Ms. Jones previously served as Senior Vice President, External Relations and Diplomatic Engagement. Since joining Meridian in 2017, Ms. Jones has driven programmatic and financial organizational growth by spearheading the development of new initiatives including the Meridian Council, the Center for Diplomatic Engagement, DiplomacyRISE and Culturefix.

Ms. Jones has leadership experience spanning across diplomacy, government and politics. Prior to joining Meridian, she served as Deputy Chief of Protocol of the United States, working with over 100 foreign governments and delegations on their visits to the United States and traveled with the President, Vice President and Secretary of State to advise on overseas trips.

PURU TRIVEDI, VICE PRESIDENT, EXTERNAL AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS

As Vice President, Corporate and External Affairs, Mr. Trivedi will be responsible for managing and curating the Meridian Corporate Council, along with leading a team of 14 focused on Institutional Advancement, Corporate Affairs and Communications across the organization. Mr. Trivedi previously served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and has been with Meridian since 2015. Throughout his tenure, he has grown the Meridian Corporate Council to 68 members and an annual revenue of over $2,700,000.

Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Trivedi worked across the financial services, policy advocacy and consulting industries. Most recently, he was Head of Services to Government for APCO Worldwide and Deputy Country Director for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce/USIBC in New Delhi.
