International broadcast journalists view of the American media

This video is the production of participants on the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on New and Traditional Broadcast Media in March-April, 2017. This project sought to examine the history, structure, and function of broadcasting in the United States, and addressed the influence of radio, television, cable, and new technologies in a pluralistic, decentralized, and democratic society. Participants in a city split segment that visited Kansas City, Missouri produced this video to report on their project.
