2018 AWEP Product Showcase at Meridian
For the second year in a row, Meridian hosted a product showcase as the culminating event of the Washington, DC itinerary for the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program. This year’s cohort included 22 women from 13 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, all of whom had the opportunity to share the businesses and products with Meridian’s global network of influencers who attended the July 13th showcase. AWEP is a project of the International Visitor Leadership Program, a U.S. Department of State initiative that Meridian has implemented for the past nine years.
