Stephon Marbury, born in Brooklyn, New York, enjoyed a 13-year career in the NBA before moving to China to play with the CBA. He went on to win three championships with the Beijing Ducks between 2012-2015. Off the court, in 2014 Marbury was named one of Beijing’s Top 10 Model Citizens, becoming the first international citizen to be recognized for his commitment to philanthropy in China.
