<p>American Lee Marvin and Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune, both of whom served in the Pacific during World War II, starred in the action film <em>Hell in the Pacific</em>. The film follows two WWII servicemen who are stranded together on a deserted island and, after several attempts to sabotage one another, realize they must overcome their differences in order to survive.</p>
