<p>Yama Sakura is the largest U.S. Army bilateral exercise in the Asia-Pacific region. Its purpose is to enhance American and Japanese combat readiness, while strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. support for the security interests of allies and partners in the region.</p>
