Secretary Ann Mclaughlin Korologos

Ann McLaughlin Korologos served as U.S. Secretary of Labor from 1987-1989. She was awarded the President’s Citizen Medal by President Reagan in recognition of her public service. She also served as Under Secretary of the Department of the Interior and as Assistant Secretary of the Department of the Treasury where she earned the department's highest honor, the Alexander Hamilton Award for distinguished leadership. She was appointed Chairman of the President’s Commission on Aviation Security and Terrorism in 1989 and in 2002 was appointed to an independent Commission of The International Labour Organization (ILO).

Her private sector experience includes diverse senior management roles, including President of McLaughlin and Company, consultant to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Senior Advisor to Benedetto, Gartland & Company, Inc. She has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the RAND Corporation and The Aspen Institute. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several organizations including: AMR Corporation (and its subsidiary, American Airlines), Harman International, Kellogg Company, Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc., Vulcan Materials Company, The Dana Foundation, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.
