Program Summary

Meridian is seeking a program partner to join its current consortium of Institute partners to implement the Environmental Issues Institute of the Study the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders from Europe (EUR) program, funded by the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.  Program partners must be a U.S.-based colleges, universities, community colleges, and affiliated higher education organizations based on a college or university campus. The SUSI EUR program is an intensive academic program whose purpose is to provide multinational groups of European undergraduate students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. The Environmental Issues Institute will incorporate thematically-focused four-week academic residency followed by a one-week educational study tour in a different region from the Institute to showcase the geographic, demographic, ideological, and institutional diversity within the U.S. The program will also include a three-day event in Washington, D.C. that will host all Institute groups.
